Swansea's Britton looking forward to Laudrup arrival

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton admits he cannot wait to get started with life under new manager Michael Laudrup.

The Danish great has taken the reins at the Liberty Stadium following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool and his appointment has 29-year old Britton extremely excited.

"We can't wait to get back on the training ground now so that we can see what the new manager's methods are and how he wants to do things," he told the Evening Post.

"It's a clean slate for everyone. We all have to prove ourselves all over again to the new manager and we'll all look forward to doing that."
