Swansea City are ready to close a deal for West Brom midfielder Nacer Chadli.

The Mirror says Gylfi Sigurdsson will get the green light to complete his £50million move to Merseyside after the transfer had been dragged out due to Swansea sourcing a replacement.

The Swans will now make a £20m move for unsettled Chadli at West Brom, who was omitted from the Baggies' pre-season tour.

Boss Tony Pulis did not want to lose the player but was not prepared to allow him to disrupt Albion's pre-season preparations.
