Swansea City are continuing new contract talks with crocked fullback Neil Taylor.

The South Wales Echo says it is understood the club are standing by the contract offer made to the 23-year-old, the new long-term deal revealed by our sister title Wales on Sunday last week.

Swansea want to tie down both Taylor and international team-mate Ashley Williams as they look to secure the futures of key performers following the closure of the transfer window, with the latter confirming he is ready for formal discussions on a deal.
