Swansea prepared to sell Gomis as Chelsea youngster Bamford becomes available

Swansea City are reportedly preparing to sell striker Bafetimbi Gomis to Qatari club Lekhwiya.

The Daily Mail is reporting Lekhwiya are willing to fork out £6.5million to lure the Frenchman to the Middle East.

Swansea are reportedly open to the idea of selling the 30-year-old who has struggled to find his best form in recent weeks.

It is understood that should Gomis depart the Liberty Stadium, the Swans would look to secure a loan deal for Chelsea's Patrick Bamford, who is set to end his temporary stay at Crystal Palace.
