Swansea playmaker Britton targets game No500

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton was happy not to lose his 400th game for their draw with Reading.

Britton had featured heavily in the build-up to the game as he was making his 400th appearance since first signing for Swansea a decade ago.

But the 30-year-old feels he has at least another 100 games in him for his beloved Swans.

"I'd like to think I can go over 500," said the popular Londoner. "I've just turned 30 so I'm not that old. I know the papers keep putting aged 30 in there, but I'm hoping to go over 500.

"That's been my target for three or four years now, but it all depends on a lot of factors like injuries, form and where the team are and how they're doing.

"I love playing and you can't not enjoy it.

"You're out in the Premier League on great pitches against great players.

"It's where you want to be and where the club certainly deserve to be."
