Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has dismissed reports suggesting they are close to snapping up Ronnie Stam. Stam is available as a free agent after seeing his contract at Wigan Athletic expire.
Jenkins told the Evening Post: "Ronnie Stam is just one of a number of players we have been looking at as right-back cover.
"There have been no negotiations. He's just one option, along with the likes of Dwight Tiendalli and Jack Hunt at Huddersfield.
"I think we are covered at right-back with Angel Rangel and Jazz Richards, but it's up to Michael Laudrup whether he keeps Jazz or lets him go out on loan."
