Swansea City are eyeing a shock move for Emmanuel Adebayor.
WalesOnline says Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis could be used in a swap for former Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham forward Adebayor at Turkish side İstanbul Başakşehir.
The Frenchman spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan with Ligue 1 outfit Marseille where he scored a hugely impressive 21 goals in his 33 appearances in all competitions in his homeland.
He returned to south Wales following the conclusion of his loan spell in France, and it remains to be seen whether or not he has a future under Paul Clement.
BeinSport reports Swansea offered Başakşehir €3m as well as offering them Gomis in a bid to land Adebayor who joined the club from Crystal Palace a year ago.
