Swansea owner Kaplan travels from US to show Clement support

Swansea City owner Steve Kaplan is set to travel to England this week in order to show his support to under-fire manager Paul Clement.

The Welsh club are languishing in 19th position on the Premier League standings after taking just eight points from their opening 11 games and they could be set to face yet another relegation battle.

Kaplan owns a majority share at the Swans along with Jason Levien.

Swansea have lost six out of their last eight games which has led to speculation that they will soon part ways with Clement.

However, Wales Online have suggested that Clement's job is not at risk with the clubs management still believing that he is the right man to guide the club.

Kaplan's visit of the club for the game against Burnley is also viewed as a means of him signalling that he is happy with Clement doing the job.
