Swansea City outcast Michu is in talks with little UP Langreo.

AS says Michu has been on the sidelines for a year as he struggles to recover from an ankle injury.

In order to regain his fitness, Michu has been training with Langreo in his native Asturias for several months and now hopes to be allowed to make a return to competitive action under the guidance of Hernán Pérez at the 4,000-seater Ganzábal.

Michu's intention is to play for Langreo until January and see how his ankle holds out, after undergoing several operations over the course of the last two years.

If all goes well, the former Celta and Rayo player will see if he can secure a move to a team higher up the football ladder.
