Swansea, Norwich eyeing Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward

Swansea City are eyeing Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward.

The Mirror says the Swans could be keen on making the Wales international their new number one in the light of Lukasz Fabianski's expected departure this summer.

However, they could yet face competition from Championship rivals Norwich City.

The 24-year-old has found first team opportunities hard to come by at Anfield, with Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet consistently finding themselves ahead in the pecking order.

Ward was the talk of the Championship during his loan spell at Huddersfield Town two seasons ago, playing a key part in helping the Terriers return to the top tier of English football for the first time since 1972.

He could well be seen as a decent fit in Swansea's bid to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
