Swansea City No2 Erik Larsen has no doubt about the quality of their three new signings.
Genoa centre-half Chico was manager Michael Laudrup's first signing when he joined in a £2m deal last month.
His arrival was quickly followed by Villarreal's Jonathan de Guzman on a season-long loan deal and a move for Rayo Vallecano's Michu, also for £2m.
Larsen told the South Wales Echo: "They are very eager to show they are good players.
"It's always the same in football - what you did yesterday doesn't count for tomorrow. They are hungry and they're keen to show why we brought them here.
"We have to give credit to the club and squad though.
"We have discovered that everyone is so friendly to the new players coming here, and they want to help them as much as possible."
