Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm says he wants to earn No1 status with Holland on merit.

Vorm insists he wasn't celebrating over AS Roma keeper and Dutch rival Maarten Stekelenburg's head collision with Inter Milan defender Lucio.

"He's only a year older, that's my bad luck," said Vorm.

"My first reaction when he got kicked by Lucio was: I hope he's okay. I am not thinking: 'Hey, I'm going to play in goal against Moldova and Sweden'."
