Swansea City have attempted to trump Manchester United for St Etienne defender Kurt Zouma.
The Daily Mail says Swansea have been rebuffed in an enquiry for Manchester United target Zouma, 18, of St Etienne.
Zouma is a top target for United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who wants to sign Frenchman in the summer.
