Swansea City are interested in Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena.

The Daily Mail says Swans are keen on long-time Southampton target Vilhena.

Club scouts went to watch him on Sunday as he stood out for Feyenoord but ultimately ended on the losing side against PSV Eindhoven.

Swansea are keen to find a replacement for Jonjo Shelvey and 21-year-old Vilhena is out of contract in the summer.

Liverpool's Joe Allen has also been discussed. Allen is in the last 18 months of his contract and has yet to discuss new terms as he finds himself on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp's first-choice starting 11.
