Swansea City are lining up a bid for Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher.

The Scot is up for sale at Sunderland.

The Sunday Mirror says he Scottish international, 28, cost £12million when former boss Martin O'Neill signed him from Wolves three years ago.

But with Fletcher in the final year of his contract, Sunderland would now be happy to recoup a third of that sum.
