Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson insists emotion won't be a factor facing former club Tottenham this weekend.
The Iceman is playing down the personal significance of the fixture against the North London giants, the club he quit in the summer as part of the £10m swap deal that took Ben Davies to White Hart Lane.
"I look forward to playing every game because it's a chance for us to get three points," Sigurdsson told WalesOnline. "I go into every game looking to get three points whether it's a club I've played for or not. We want to get three points and that's what we'll aim to do on Sunday.
"It's not down to how I play against Tottenham, it's down to how I play for the team for the whole season. That's my motivation.
"It was a time that I really enjoyed even though it was hard mentally over a couple of months. I played in some big London derbies, some Europa League games and with some great players so I really enjoyed it. In football sometimes you have to make changes. I've changed and I'm very happy."
