Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa has made it clear he wants to stay with Sevilla.

Mesa joined Sevilla on-loan in January to the end of the season - with a permanent option set at €8m.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido is attempting to talk down the price with Swansea.

"I hope Alavés is not my last game, my representatives know what I want," said the midfield schemer.

"I have already told the club that I want to stay, the president told me they are interested."
