Swansea City midfielder Renato Sanches has suffered a new setback.

The Bayern Munich loanee is set to miss Saturday's Premier League clash with Huddersfield due to a thigh strain picked up on international duty.

“Renato is a big doubt. He picked up a minor thigh strain in training with Portugal," Clement said.

“It looks like it will rule him out and it is disappointing for Renato.

"His fitness has improved, but if he misses out this weekend he could be fit for the game after."
