Swansea City midfielder Mark Gower rates Manchester City ahead of Manchester United.

Gower feels United no longer have the 'fear factor' after Saturday's defeat at the Liberty Stadium.

He explained: "United have been a force in this league for 20 years and there might have been a time in the past when they would not have allowed us to have the ball so much.

"The pace in their side isn't what it used to be. When you gave the ball away to them back then they had Giggs in his prime and Ronaldo.

"City have more pace and power. Teams still fear United and we showed that in the first half when we sat off them a bit too much.

"But you can take the game to them now, whereas in the past you might not have been able to."
