Swansea midfielder Britton hails Laudrup impact

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton says he loves playing for manager Michael Laudrup.

Britton enjoys the "calming influence" the Dane has on the dressing room.

"He's brilliant, you should see him in training, he still joins in every single day, obviously he hasn't got the legs, but you don't lose the football ability and the football brain that he's got. But as a manager, he's great, he is what you see on the telly, he's very calm, he likes to let the players get on with it and he's just done a great job.

"The lads know each other so well, they know the system inside out and the manager obviously tinkers with it and lets us know what he wants on the day and how he wants us to play, but he's the type of manager that lets the boys get on with it, he trusts his players and this season, we've benefited from it."

Britton was speaking with Ian Wright of Absolute Radio's Rock n' Roll Football. Every Saturday from 5pm on 1215AM. For more, visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football.
