Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis was delighted with his winner in victory over Arsenal.
The 29-year-old is adamant it was just the start of things to come from the striker.
Gomis said: "It meant a lot to me. The team were trailing a bit and it was my first goal in the Premier League so it was very important for me and the team.
"I knew the goal was coming. I've been working very hard with my team-mates and I've stayed concentrated so I knew it was not far away.
"It is my job to score goals and hopefully this will be the first of many. But the most important thing is the team and that I work well with the team.
"The goals will come if I work well with the team, that is the most important thing.
"It is my first time in a foreign country so my first target was to fit in well with the team. Everyone has been really great with me and made it easy to settle in."
