A man who is never shy of delivering an interesting quote had a great analogy to describe the position that Swansea now find themselves in.
Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal was full of praise for his players after they secured an impressive 1-0 win over 4th placed Liverpool in the Premier League.
While the club are still bottom of the table with 20 points, they are now only three points away from safety. And Carvalhal had an amusing way of describing the club's current situation.
"We are breathing," said Carvalhal.
"We are in the hospital, but not in the emergency department.
"We're still not in a good position - we have a lot of work to do - but confidence is higher and the dynamic is better. The commitment is very strong and the signs are good.
"After the Watford game I said that maybe one in 100 people would say we wouldn't get relegated. Now I believe that maybe 20 in 100 will think this way.
"But to us, the most important thing is to focus on each game and play with organisation. We are doing better and better and achieving points.
"The next game against Notts County is the most important of the season because it is the next one. We focus on that and nothing more."
