Swansea City are making a late move to hijack Hull City's deal for Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala.
Liverpool accepted a bid from Hull over the weekend for the Spain U21 international.
But BBC Wales Sport says Swansea are planning their own bid for the Spaniard, who has made five appearances for Liverpool.
Ayala impressed during a 12-game loan spell at Hull last season.
He ended the season on loan at Derby County, and played in the 2-1 home win over Swansea in March.
