Swansea leave Ajax striker Kolbeinn Sighorsson to West Ham, QPR

Swansea City have pulled back from a move for Ajax striker Kolbeinn Sighorsson.

WalesOnline says it is not thought 24-year-old Ajax man Sighorsson is among those being targeted by manager Garry Monk despite reports in the Netherlands of a £8m move for the Iceland international.

Sighorsson hit 12 goals for the Dutch giants last year after a £3.5m move from AZ Alkmaar in 2011 and it has seen him tipped for a Premier League switch this summer with West Ham, Leicester and QPR all linked.
