Swansea are leading the fight to land striker Dwight Gayle from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, according to Sky Sports.
The deal, if it goes through, is expected to prompt the departure of former Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis from the Liberty Stadium.
Gayle was linked with several clubs last summer, including Bournemouth and Championship side Bristol City.
