Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm insists last night's 4-0 loss to Manchester City was the 'busiest' game he has ever played in.
The 27-year old only joined the Swans from Dutch club FC Utrecht last week but was put straight into Brendan Rodgers' starting line-up for the Welsh clubs Premier League debut.
Vorm was almost the player of the match, pulling out a string of top saves and constantly denying the City forwards, and he has admitted it was a tough contest against a quality side.
"I think it was the busiest match I have ever played in," he told Swans Player.
"In the first 20-25 minutes we played very well, in the second half you hope you get some chances but they have such good quality players.
"If we had won or drawn it would have been a bonus, we don't need to win these kind of matches, Saturday is much more important.
"These are games we can win and if we play like we did in the first half, we can create chances."
And Vorm is looking forward to the weekend's clash with Wigan Athletic at the Liberty Stadium.
"Wigan have quality, but not the kind of quality City have and it's important to play the same way Saturday and take the three points," he added.
