Swansea City are eyeing Bordeaux defender Lamine Sane.

The Daily Mail says the 28-year-old was poised to join Aston Villa on loan but Bordeaux want a permanent deal.

Sane is also a Senegal international and has won 25 caps for his country.

Swansea are also set to sign Jonathan de Guzman on loan from Napoli.

De Guzman previously spent two years on loan at the Swans between 2012-14, where he made 95 appearances and helped them win the League Cup in 2013.
