Swansea City defender Neil Taylor is delighted to be in the Team GB squad.

The Wales international will be joined by countrymen Gareth Bale, of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy and Swansea teammate Joe Allen.

Ryan Giggs and Aaron Ramsey are also expected to feature in Stuart Pearce's final 18-man squad.

"It will be a great thing to do, if you make the final cut," said Taylor, 23.

"It's a great opportunity and we just have to wait for the final squad to see who he takes.

"Technically, you are going to be an Olympian and that is something a lot of athletes work towards all their lives."
