Swansea fullback Taylor confident squad will not break up

Swansea City fullback Neil Taylor is confident they can keep their squad together.

Taylor rejected a move to Newcastle United to stay with the Swans this season.

Taylor, who played for Wrexham before joining the Swans in 2010, said: "Last summer, people said that our best players and our manager would be off to better things.

"However, all of us know what a special football club this is.

"I don't think any of the players here would swap it for anything. It's a football club that's growing and, if it ends up being a top-10 club, there are not many other places you would want to go.

"As a player, money can turn your head.

"However, having played as we did when we beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage last weekend, I can't imagine the boys wanting to leave.

"You can't replace a performance like that, not with anything. Playing in the style we do is a big factor for the players. We love it."
