Swansea City are eyeing Napoli defender Raul Albiol.

The Mirror says Swansea are keen on ambitious £6million move for Albiol.

Paul Clement is looking to strengthen his defensive options after rescuing the club from the drop last season and sees the 31-year-old Spaniard as a player whose experience could prove vital.

Valencia, who finished 12th in La Liga last season, are also interested in Albiol who has 51 caps for his country.

The Spanish club had two bids rejected last summer because Albiol had a release clause in his contract of around £13million.
