Swansea defender Tate well ahead of schedule

Swansea City defender Alan Tate's recovery from injury is well ahead of schedule.

Swansea's vice-captain, 29, broke a leg back in August after his buggy hit a tree during a round of golf.

He said: "I hope to be playing after nearer to three months rather than the expected six.

"I reckon I could be available again by Christmas."
