Newport County defender Curtis Obeng hopes his one-month loan from Swansea City will be extended. The 25-year-old made his League Two debut in Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Accrington Stanley.
Obeng has yet to make a first team appearance for the Swans since joining from Wrexham in January 2012.
"We'll see where we are in a month's time and see what the manager wants to do," Obeng said.
"I just want to play. That's always the goal - to play football in a good team like this one in a competitive league."
