Swansea defender Bartley refuses to taunt ex-Arsenal teammates

Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley has refused to gloat as he prepares to play in the Capital One Cup final.

Bartley left crisis club Arsenal in the summer.

He told The Sun: "I'm sure people will find it ironic that I had to leave a huge club like Arsenal to get my hands on a winners' medal, and it does seem strange. I keep in touch with Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs and some of the other young players at Arsenal and they have all wished me good luck.

"They have just got to keep plugging away because there's too much talent at the Emirates for them not to win a trophy soon.

"They have to shut themselves off from all the negative talk and convince themselves their time will come. I'm sure it will."
