Alfie Mawson is eager to avoid comparisons with former Swansea City captain Ashley Williams.
The defender has stepped in to fill the void left by Williams after his move to Everton.
"I said to my best mate when I'm playing regularly I'll start to feel like a Premier League player," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"It's a totally different ball game. I didn't come here to try and fill Ashley's shirt, I came here to be my own player.
"I don't want to be the next Ashley Williams, I want to be the first Alfie Mawson."
