Swansea City are edging closer to signing Espanyol defender Jordi Amat.
The South Wales Echo says the club are hopeful of bringing in 21-year-old Amat in a £2m switch after impressing in a breakthrough La Liga season while on loan at Rayo Vallecano last term.
Amat has also been linked with Southampton.
