Swansea City are close to agreeing on a deal to bring Jonathan de Guzman back to the Liberty Stadium, according to the Daily Express.

The Dutch international spent a couple of seasons on loan at the Welsh club from Villarreal before deciding to sign for Napoli on a permanent transfer in 2014.

However, he has fallen out of favour under current Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri and has failed to make a single appearance this season.

The 28-year-old is interested in a move back to the Swans and is expected to finalise a loan deal this week.
