Swansea City director John van Zweden was full of pride over their shock win at Manchester United.
The Dutchman has been part-owner of Swansea since their days in League One.
"Everywhere in the city (Manchester) you saw flags and scarves with Louis van Gaal on them, they had large billboards dedicated to him," De Zweden told NIS. "They have a giant, they think.
"We had only one goal: to just knock that giant off his feet."
He added: "I think he's a great guy and one of the best trainers out there walking around on earth. But yes, if you only have a moderately small team ... I really think that if in the next two weeks they do not improve, his team will just end up somewhere in mid-table."
