Swansea City director John van Zweden says he's cleared up his problems with the board.

Van Zweden spoke with Swans chairman Huw Jenkins yesterday after reports of him insulting Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal at the Liberty last month.

"It was a storm in a teacup. We have internally discussed things," said the Dutchman.

"I said that it was not smart of me, doing what I did.

"For me, there are fortunately no further consequences."
