Swansea City are chasing Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The Mirror says supremo Huw Jenkins hopes to clinch a deal for the England Under-21 cap to become his new No.1 - with Michel Vorm expected to move on.
Reading will sell McCarthy to the highest bidder and may take around £3million after missing out on promotion to the Premier League.
