Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins is convinced the club is in the best shape of its history.
Last season the Swans broke new ground in the Premier League, finishing in eighth and on a record 56 points after previous ninth, 11th and 12th-placed finishes.
They earned £80m in central income payments from the Premier League while off the pitch they strive for category one status for their academy and are looking to buy and expand the Liberty Stadium.
“When you're competing in this division against big clubs, for us to be in the top ten all year and finish eighth comfortably shows that we've gone to a new level," Jenkins told the club's official site.
“We've got a strong squad and the club is in a fantastic position, so it has to be the best shape the club has ever been in its history.
“To me it's the best season in the club's history. We have exceeded expectations - I don't think anyone can argue that."
