Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has held crisis talks with manager Michael Laudrup.
The Sunday Mirror says Laudrup upset some players by overhauling the club's training regime and telling his squad they must earn their days off.
It came to a head after last week's 2-2 draw with Reading, when Laudrup ordered players who were not leaving for international duty in for training on Sunday and Monday.
Members of the first-team squad were even more stunned to hear the reserves had been given Sunday off to relax.
With frustrations threatening to boil over, Laudrup and Jenkins met to agree on the best way forward.
The move appears to have worked, at least for now, as the players have vowed to redouble their efforts and toe the line with Laudrup.
