Olympique Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis is wanted by Cardiff City and Swansea City.

The Sunday Mirror says the Welsh rivals are both desperate to sign a new striker and have made enquiries over Lyon star Gomis.

Newly promoted Cardiff have a long-standing ­interest in Gomis, who would cost around ­£12million and shatter the club's transfer record.

But Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins last week flew out to France to discuss transfer targets , including Gomis.
