Swansea City captain Ashley Williams is struggling to be fit for the derby against Cardiff City.
Williams, 29, has had scans on his injured ankle in Cardiff this week and has already been ruled out of the World Cup double-header against Macedonia and Belgium.
Michael Laudrup said he had Williams on the bench at Southampton as a number and looking at the injuries they have I can see that.
"But it was good to have him a chance to have him here and take a look for ourselves.
"To be honest, I'm not sure when he will be back, but perhaps not for the next three games after the international break."
