Swansea City defender Ashley Williams has rated tonight’s 2-0 Capital One Cup win over Chelsea as ‘massive’.

The Welsh club have given themselves every chance of progressing to the league cup final courtesy of goals from Michu and Danny Graham and the centre-half suggests it will be a huge achievement if they make it through after the January 23 return leg at the Liberty Stadium.

"It will be a massive game. We're only half-way there in a massive tie," he told Sky Sports 1.

"If we do get to Wembley it will be massive for everyone.

"We just wanted to get a result and bring them back to our place and try and finish the job.

"Tonight we just wanted to play our own game and not let the occasion get to us.

"We stayed calm and played the way we wanted to."
