Swansea boss sets 50 point haul for Capital One Cup winners

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is already turning his focus back to the Premier League and targeting 50 points. Laudrup led the Swans to League Cup glory on Sunday when they thrashed Bradford 5-0 at Wembley to lift the club's first major trophy.

"It's normal that for a couple of days everybody will be enjoying it, partying," he told Sky Sports.

"But there's always tomorrow and there's always the next game.

"Even if we want to or not, we've got Newcastle on Saturday. We still need points in the Premiership to get above the 40 points.

"I still think, with 11 games to go, we can aim even higher and try and go for 50 points. We're ninth in the table and, more or less, we'd like to remain there come the end of the season."
