Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers was delighted with their victory over Wigan Athletic.
The Swans appeared a class above the Latics on the day.
"It was a convincing win," said Rodgers.
Even Nathan Dyer's dismissal did not affect Swansea's control of the game, with Rodgers claiming the decision was harsh but also understood why referee Andre Marriner reached his conclusion.
"The referee was in a very good position," said Rodgers.
"Nathan is not a malicious player. His foot is up and he tried to connect with the ball. But there was no malicious intent and no real force either.
"The player goes up and makes it look a lot worse than it was.
"But in the modern game, when your foot is up and the studs are showing, you can get sent off.""I thought we were outstanding. We scored two and could have had three or four."
