Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to discuss a summer transfer budget with chairman Huw Jenkins.

Rodgers is hoping to be handed a £10m summer war chest to build on the foundations of a successful first season in the Premier League.

However, Rodgers has told anyone looking for an easy life to forget about moving to Wales.

He said: "It's going to be a big summer, in terms of recruitment. I've got a meeting with the chairman and chief scout on Monday to take things on a step.

"I've got an idea on the type and DNA of player that I want. A lot of it is down to the hunger of the player.

"Players who want to rest more than work are not for me."
