Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted with Leon Britton's form this season.

Rodgers hailed midfielder Britton, 29, who has played in all four divisions for the club.

Rodgers said: "I suppose the traditional British outlook on players is that they have to be over 6ft, quick and strong.

"Leon, along with a number of others, showed a wonderful demonstration of technique, talent and an ability to pass.

"He's about two stone soaking wet, so he cannot really tackle, but what he does brilliantly, is screen and block."
