Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says Nathan Dyer shouldn't be down after his red card in victory over Wigan Athletic.
It was not a great moment for Dyer given he was being watched by interim England manager Stuart Pearce.
"I have regular contact with Stuart. I spoke to him yesterday and I was aware he was coming to the game," said Rodgers.
"He was doing well but when he was sent off we had to show the other side of our game."
