Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers has decided against offering terms to Hungary centre-half Zoltan Liptak.
Liptak, who is a free agent after leaving Hungarian champions Videoton last month, spent a week on trial at the Liberty Stadium as part of Rodgers' desperate search for defensive reinforcements.
But the 26-year-old failed to impress in the reserve team's 5-3 defeat to Newcastle on Wednesday, leaving Rodgers no closer to solving his crisis at the back.
"I spoke to Zoltan," Rodgers said. "He did very well in training but he will not be one that we do any movement on."
